The quixotic folk at Sprites Mods figured that with a little rewiring, a jot of electricity from a 9V battery and a wad of duct tape, an HP print cartridge could be made to spit out ink on its own, no printer required.
Thanks to a steady hand to mimic the lateral movement of a print head holder, the experiment more or less worked, allowing the noble scientist to spray mostly legible characters on everything from beer foam to whiteboards.
