To say I'm not wild about roller coasters is like saying Levi Johnston likes publicity—that is, a total understatement. Thus, I'm always excited when a theme park like Busch Gardens, known for its daredevil coasters, adds an attraction that won't launch me into immediate infarction.
That's not to say Kangaloom isn't exciting. We found hand-feeding kangas and wallabies to be just about the most exciting thing in the park. The new addition is the centerpiece of BG's Walkabout Way, an Australian-themed animal exhibit. It features red, gray, and albino kangaroos and Bennett's wallabies, in addition to koalas and a kookaburra.
Admission is included with tickets to the park; food for the kangas or birds costs extra. Kids five and up can enter Kangaloom.
