It's not just Beyond Good & Evil that will be making a downloadable comeback. Ubisoft will also release last generation's Prince of Persia trilogy on PlayStation Network, it said Monday.
The news came courtesy of Ubisoft's latest financial release, which lists the three games – The Sands of Time, Warrior Within and The Two Thrones – as upcoming releases for the October-December 2010 quarter. So we should be seeing them soon. The games will be released later this week in Europe on a single Blu-ray disc.
Less happy news: Driver San Francisco and Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Future Soldier, originally slated to ship before March, have been bumped back later into the 2011-2012 fiscal year.
One more tidbit of information: Apparently Ubisoft's Your Shape is the best-selling third-party game for Kinect, thus far.
