The GeekMoms are always on the lookout for neat stuff to share with you. Here's some recent steampunk news you might have missed.
- The video above is Contessa Lenora, of Steampunk Canada talking about, well, Steampunk!
- G.D. Falksen has released a two volume CD soundtrack for his novel The Hellfire Chronicles: Blood In The Skies. A "musical compilation that represents the combined work of some of the top steampunk bands and musicians from across the world."
- Author Cheryl Ammeter has a new book coming out that is already getting a lot of great buzz. Pre-order Ivey and the Airship at Amazon.
- GeekMom's own Natania Barron's new book Pilgrim of the Sky is out now. Cherie Priest called it a "lush, dreamy fable" I'd have to agree.
- If you're hungry for new avenues to discover steampunk, check out Pinterest and the subtopic Steampunk over there. It's a pictorial playground of inspiration.
