Yes, I love my Gandalf bobblehead. He's keeping Jim Gordon and Nora Roberts company on my shelf. And my Captain Marvel (Carol Danvers) necklace given by the eldest daughter.
But there are some geeky gifts that I want and that would be really useful as a mom that are, sadly, impossible. But it doesn't stop me from dreaming about them. Here's the top five of my list.
1. The TARDIS minivan
Make sure you're never late to pick up the kids! Load all their classmates inside too! Though there's always the chance you might screw up exactly when and where you land. A bit awkward, especially when explaining to other parents.
2. A Time Turner.
Hermione must wish she saved this one for when she had kids.
3. Merlin's packing & pick-up spell, "Higitus Figitus" from Sword in the Stone.
One wave of the wand and the house clean will clean itself! Brilliant! In a pinch, I suppose I could buy a Roomba. In case the brooms start taking over, ala Sorceror's Apprentice.
4. Jamie Madrox's Multiple Man powers.
What Mom can't use an army of duplicates? There are already times when I need to be in two places at once. This why, I could avoid the time paradoxes.
5. Oracle's Watchtower
How else can I keep an eye on the kids? They'll never know, right?
