SuperHeroStuff.com is one of my favorite places to get my Batman geekery (new word, just run with it). While they were at Mega Con this past weekend, I took the liberty of picking up some of my favorite Batman items. I also took some pictures of their booth to show those of you going to Wonder Con all the cool stuff they plan on bringing with them.
The most popular items were the Star Wars themed shirts. This was a no brainier for me, mostly because their booth sat right across from Roxy the Rancor and the rest of the 501st Legion. I'm sure more than one of my squad mates headed over for their Star Wars t-shirt fix.
Now, I'd like to show you some of my favorite items from the weekend.
First up are the Batman underwear and night shirt. While Edma Mode might be all "No Capes!", I'm not afraid because I won't be flying near any jets anytime soon. If you are a fan of capes as well, there's plenty of items to chose from including socks, underwear and nightshirts.
In addition to picking up the Batman nightshirt and black and yellow bat signal underwear with matching lace (see picture below), I also grabbed this cool Batman wallet. My husband picked out a neat He-Man and Battle Cat shirt that he plans on giving to a friend for his birthday (shh...don't tell).
One thing cons are never in short supply of is t-shirts. Compared to other vendors, that I will never buy from again, SuperHeroStuff sells items that will last you a long time. I have a few of their shirts from two years ago and they haven't worn out on me yet.
Here are some of my favorites from this year.
This first picture showcases two things I love in one shot; Star Wars and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The Turtles shirt is one of my favorites. I wear it with my pajama pants as well as with my jeans. I really like the colors on the Star Wars shirt in the middle row, last column. Of course, if you're a Big Bang Theory fan, you're going to want to check out the Soft Kitty, Warm Kitty shirt (top row, first column).
Here's another shot of some more of my favorite shirts. These were located on the men's side of the booth. I'm sure the ladies will like them as well. There's a great female tank top version of the Chewbacca costume shirt in the middle that I highly recommend for the ladies. Of course, who doesn't like a good "It's a trap!" shirt. There's a nice selection of rebel attire as well as empire, so no matter what side you support, there's a shirt for you.
What outfit would be complete without some accessories? That's where these awesome belts come in. I'm a big fan of them and was even recognized by a family of GeekMom readers for my Justice League one I worn on Sunday. I really like that the ladies and the guys can wear them. My favorite in this picture is the Flash belt. It would go great with my Flash shoes and t-shirt.
Is your dog a fan as well? No worries, they also have dog collars.
Last, but certainly not least...kids stuff! Regardless if your little one is destined to be Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman or Spider-Man, there is a onesie or t-shirt for them. Of course, if your little one was born to be a Trekkie, there's a onesie for them too.
So, there you have it. My favorite items from Mega Con 2013. If you missed the convention, their next stop will be Wonder Con. Of course, have no fear. You can also purchase these items on SuperHeroStuff's website.
I was given a review sample in exchange for this review. As always, that didn't affect my opinion of something I already believed to be awesome.
