After years of hinting that it intends to take serious steps towards moving PC gaming into the living room, Valve has now launched a teaser website promising three separate announcements related to such a move.

"Last year, we shipped a software feature called Big Picture, a user-interface tailored for televisions and gamepads," reads the site. "This year we've been working on even more ways to connect the dots for customers who want Steam in the living-room. Soon, we'll be adding you to our design process, so that you can help us shape the future of Steam."

The countdown clock for the first announcement is scheduled to end at 10 a.m. Pacific time on Monday morning. Countdown clocks for the second and third announcements have not been posted yet.

The teaser site says that Valve intends to begin launching whatever these projects are in 2014. In the past, it has indicated that living room style hardware would run its Steam gaming service via the Linux operating system.
