The whole point of movies and TV is escapism---experiencing places you've never been before. Some of those places you can visit, some you can't. But if those far-flung fantasy places were real, these are the postcards you would send from them.
Crafted by designer Stacey Richards for UK printing company myprint247, the cards represent the hottest tourist destinations (Jurassic World) and the kind of places you'd need a souvenir to prove you survived (effing MORDOR)---though you'd probably want something to prove you survived Jurassic World, too. There are also postcards for fantastical locales like *Frozen'*s Arendelle and King's Landing from Game of Thrones. (For the record, we have no idea why the latter's chamber of commerce didn't opt for "Come for the incest; stay for the regicide!" as a slogan.)
"I chose to focus on some of the most iconic elements of each location," Richards says. "No postcard from Jurassic World would be complete without the park gates, and I took inspiration from Frank Miller's famous quote for Gotham: 'Metropolis is New York in the daytime; Gotham City is New York at night.'"
Although myprint247 is a printing company, they don't have the postcards for sale, though a company representative says they may consider producing a special run if there's enough interest. There's also a chance for a follow-up series with even more locations. We're betting on "District 13: We have bunkers!"
