And it is the perfect followup to 2012's meme-megahit "McKayla Maroney Is Not Impressed."

While waiting in the holding room before the men’s 200 meter butterfly semifinals, the world-renowned USA swimmer, donning a hoodie and headphones, shot the kind of glares at his opponent Chad le Clos that could dim the sun and set the atmosphere aflame. Perhaps it was just his game face, or perhaps he was unamused by le Clos dancing in front of him. Either way, the Internet took note immediately and the #PhelpsFace meme was born.
