E3, the annual video game trade show, is a tidal wave of news and trailers for upcoming games. It might still be virtual this year due to the pandemic, but we're seeing more game sales in the wake of these announcements than ever before. Microsoft has its Deals Unlocked sale, Sony has discounts on popular titles, and later this month, we're likely to see the annual Steam Summer Sale. It's a great time to pad out your game library and spend time indoors as temperatures rise this summer.

- HyperX Cloud Stinger Core for $30 ($10 off): This already affordable headset is now even cheaper. It's comfortable to wear for long periods of time, and the microphone doesn't get in the way. It works with the PS4 or PS5.
- God of War Deluxe Edition for $23 ($7 off): A modern classic, God of War follows the adventures of Kratos and his son Atreus in the beautiful if cold world of Norse mythology. Also, you get to swing a really cool ax. The deluxe edition nets you a few fancy skins and armor.
- Grand Theft Auto V: Premium Edition for $20 ($10 off): Remember when GTA was mostly a single-player game? Now it's that and more, with tons of fully online multiplayer content to explore.
- Assassin's Creed Valhalla for $30 ($10 off): One of the most non-traditional Assassin's Creed games, Valhalla puts you in the boots of a Viking warrior that travels across the beautiful but divided kingdoms of Saxon England.
- Borderlands 3 Next Level Bundle for $47 ($23 off): The third entry in the Borderlands series is every bit as addictive as its predecessors. Shoot and loot your way across an alien planet and gather thousands of different weapons along the way.
- Mortal Kombat X for $12 ($8 off): After playing the latest Mortal Kombat, all I could think about was going back and replaying the previous entry. Nothing makes a better double feature than Mortal Kombat X followed by Mortal Kombat 11.
- Resident Evil 2 Deluxe Edition for $35 ($15 off): It's a full remake of one of the most influential survival horror games ever made. If you're a fan of limping down a dark hallway that may or may not be full of zombies, this game is for you.
- Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition for $15 ($5 off): The hotly anticipated sequel is just around the corner, but the original is still an absolute blast to play. It's gorgeous, lavishly detailed from top to bottom, and features memorable characters and locales. Plus robot dinosaurs.
Microsoft's Deals Unlocked sale started earlier this month and runs through June 17, so some of these deals are going to go pretty quickly. While you're at it, read our other Xbox guides, including the Best Xbox One Games, Best Xbox Series X/S Games, Xbox Gift Guide, and our Xbox Series X/S tips and tricks to get the most out of the consoles.
- Xbox Game Pass Ultimate $1 for the First 3 Months ($14 off): This is still the best deal in gaming if you have an Xbox or PC or both. Hundreds of games, plus new first-party releases, all for just $15. Sometimes it feels too good to be true, it's that good.
- Halo: Reach for $5 ($5 off): Reach is starting to show its age graphically but it's still the best Halo game in the entire series. If you want to play it all in order, The Master Chief Collection is also on sale for $20 ($20 off).
- Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate for $24 ($36 off): It's like pro wrestling but with robot ninjas. Extremely gory pro wrestling with robot ninjas.
- Red Dead Redemption 2 for $27 ($33 off): Even though it's a couple of years old now, Red Dead Redemption 2 is still such a gorgeous game, and it looks incredible on Xbox Series X.
- The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Game of the Year Edition for $10 ($45 off): This is an absolute steal. The Witcher 3 is one of our favorite games of all time and for good reason. It's almost infinitely replayable, has a killer story (actually several stories and the best-written side quests around), and snappy, satisfying gameplay.
- Titanfall 2 for $4 ($16 off): An underappreciated gem, Titanfall 2 is a love story between a pilot and his battle mech. Well, it's more of a bromance, but it's still a lovely story. A tale as old as time.
- Little Nightmares 2 for $25 ($5 off): This game is super creepy and also super cute. It's a dangerous combination. Not for the squeamish though, there are parts of this game that get pretty gross. But adorably gross.
- The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition for $16 ($24 off): Nothing will eat up hours quite like Skyrim. It's old at this point, and the graphics are definitely dated, but it's a classic action-adventure role-playing game if you've never tried it.
- Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War for $36 ($24 off): Call of Duty continues to have some of the sharpest, most satisfying multiplayer experiences out there. Nothing hits quite like that level-up music in the middle of a match. I'm not much of a fan of shooters but even I can't put down Call of Duty.
- Logitech G203 for $33 ($7 off): This is our favorite cheap mouse, and now you can save even more cash on it. The G203 can compete with its pricier peers, with six buttons in tow and the all-important RGB lighting.
- Logitech G Pro Wired for $47 ($24 off): This elegant mouse delivers responsive and satisfying clicks, and its design language has been custom-tuned with feedback from esports professionals. It's a sturdy, reliable mouse.
- Razer Huntsman Elite Gaming Keyboard for $150 ($50 off): This mechanical keyboard's switches are designed to deliver quick actuation times, which is important for fast-paced games. It's loud, in the best way possible, and you can customize the RGB with Razer's software.
