7Up Just Dropped a New, First-Of-Its-Kind Flavor

The calendar might say April, but the food world is already fast-forwarding to summer. Between Dairy Queen bringing back its S’mores Blizzard and Oreo restocking its summertime cookies, it’s clear warm-weather treats are making an early comeback this year. At this rate, it won’t be long before Chick-fil-A’s peach milkshake and Baskin-Robbins’ Beach Day ice cream join the party.

And now, soda brands are diving into summer early, too. Coca-Cola, Olipop, and A&W have all rolled out new seasonal flavors. Not too long ago, we thought 7Up’s contribution would be the return of 7Up Tropical—now a permanent offering—or maybe even the recent launch of 7Up Shirley Temple. But it turns out, that was just the beginning.

7Up Launches New Endless Summer Watermelon and Strawberry Soda

7Up just introduced a brand-new flavor designed to kick off the season: Endless Summer flavored Watermelon and Strawberry soda. The name alone sets the tone—it’s all about keeping the sunny, carefree feeling of summer going sip after sip, all season long.

So, how do you bottle the taste of summer? Well, you can start by blending two of the most summer-forward fruit flavors imaginable. Think about it—what’s more summery than biting into a juicy, ruby-red strawberry or having watermelon juice run down your arms at a backyard barbecue?

Add 7Up’s signature citrus twist, and you’ve got a drink that’s bright, fizzy, and undeniably refreshing. From early reviews, this sounds like the perfect soda for sipping poolside, packing on a picnic, or stocking the fridge on a summer vacation. One fan even called it "perfect to mix for summer cocktails," and we’d have to agree.

"SIGN ME UP," one fan raved. "Just got these today...so good," shared another.

The soda will be available in both regular and zero-sugar varieties and comes in 12-ounce cans and 20-ounce bottles. But before you go hunting for it at your local grocery store, there’s one thing you should know. Just like the original launch of 7Up Tropical, this new flavor appears to be exclusive to Kroger-owned stores.

That means if you don’t live near a Kroger, Ralphs, Fred Meyer, King Soopers, or any other store in the Kroger family, you might be out of luck. However, if history repeats itself, there’s a good chance Endless Summer could make its way to more retailers down the line.
