This Is Part Of Gregory's Character Lore In My Primary Erico Splatoon/Splatoonian Universe And Takes Place Before The Events Of Splatoonian 1. Heavily Inspired By The Original Promotional Blue Inkling Boy & Orange Inkling Girl From Splatoon 1.

After A Tragic Event That Befell His Parents, Gregory As A Child Was Left All Alone With No One To Look After Him. That Was Until One Day When Two Inklings Named Kaori-Chan And Jonburu-Kun/San (Japanese For John Blue) Were Playing Together And Noticed Little Gregory Sitting Alone & Sad Under A Tree. The Two Inklings Greet Him, With Gregory Not Saying Much & Wanting To Be Alone. Kaori Knew Gregory Didn't Want To Be Left Alone, So She Sits Next To Gregory Under The Tree Alongside Jonburu To Comfort The Lonely Yellow Inkling.

When Gregory Tells Them Why He's Alone, Kaori Then Cheerfully Decides That Gregory Can Come Live With Her Or Jonburu Until He Can Get Back On His Feet One Day Once He's Older & Better. Jonburu Also Agrees, As He Even Offers To Lend Gregory Some Of His Clothes So The Yellow Inkling Doesn't Have To Wear The Same Smelly Old Clothes Every New Day. Although Gregory Was Hesitant At First On Kaori's & Jonburu's Offer, He Accepts It As He Has No Other Options At His Age As A Child.

For The Next Few Years, Gregory Spent His Life Living At Kaori's When They Were Still Little Kids. This Was Able To Bring Gregory Out Of His Quiet & Sad Nature With Kaori & Jonburu As It Gave Him Back Some Happiness That He Use To Have With His Parents. Both Kaori & Jonburu Helped Gregory With Learning A Lot To Take Care Of Himself One Day With Their Own Parents Being Additional Assistants. Once Gregory Reached The Age For Inklings To Try Out Turf War, Kaori & Jonburu Taught Him How To Use Weapons Used For Turf War & Anarchy Battles Such As The Splattershot As A Start.

It Wasn't Long Until Gregory Then Moved Out Of Kaori's To Live Out On His Own In A Apartment In Flounder Heights, Though He Still Made Contact With His Only Close Friends To Hang Out Or Play Turf War With Them. This Would Go On Into Their Adolescence Years Until The Day Gregory Would Become The Legendary Agent 3 Of The New Squidbeak Splatoon, With Kaori & Jonburu Eventually Finding Out & Feeling Proud Of Their Grown-Up Childhood Friend For Discovering The New Purpose He Needed & For Becoming A New Hero To Inkopolis.
