The Wink Hub 2 (pictured left) will retail for $99 and the previous model (pictured right) will continue to sell for $69 while supplies last.
International availability for the Wink Hub 2 is in the works. At the current exchange rate, $99 converts to roughly £80 and AU$130.
The new model has a somewhat sleeker profile, but is about the same size as the original hub.
The Wink Hub 2 adds Bluetooth integration into the mix. Here are the standards it works with:
- Bluetooth LE
- Kidde
- Clear Connect
- Z-Wave
- ZigBee
It also has a larger memory, supports dual-band Wi-Fi and can be connected directly to a router via an included Ethernet cable.
Wink's next-generation hub also promises an easier setup through an "auto-discovery" feature, although I found it to be about the same as configuring the original.
